BHI has been able to participate in workshops and webinars related to Climate Change and Health and we also followed up from resolutions from COP 28 On Climate Change and Health as well as Clean Energy Alternatives.
Steps going forward we are identifying Foundations and Corporate Partners who can support the project, we still need to double our support as now that the country is experiencing Flooding thus adding more pressure on Healthcare centres but also very many power black outs.
Meetings with partners have successfully taken place, laying the groundwork for the implementation of solar power systems in 10 healthcare centers across Uganda. While no new funds have been secured yet, discussions are ongoing, and potential avenues for financing are being explored. Our collaborative efforts aim to enhance healthcare services, ensure uninterrupted power supply, and promote sustainability in healthcare infrastructure. We remain committed to advancing this initiative to benefit communities and improve healthcare delivery in Uganda.
