Small Tools, Big Impact
Thanks to your incredible support this year, we raised $2,405 for our “Small Gifts, Mighty Impact” project. The simple yet vital items your donations funded – like cable ties, foam, duct tape, and basic tools – allowed our team to launch an innovative “Wheelchair Repurpose and Repairs” program. These contributions have helped us transform old, unused wheelchairs into fully customized solutions for individuals in need, offering opportunity, mobility, and dignity.
568 Wheelchairs Restored
The “Wheelchair Repurpose and Repairs” program is a wonderful leap toward more sustainable operations, transforming discarded or old wheelchairs into fully functional mobility aids, maximizing resource efficiency, and minimizing waste. Over the past year, HHA’s amazing local team repaired and repurposed 568 wheelchairs.
This cost-effective solution ensures that limited funds create maximum impact, providing mobility to more individuals without the need for entirely new equipment. Additionally, the program reduces environmental harm and, most importantly, the restored wheelchairs enable more beneficiaries to access education, work, and community life, fostering independence and creating lasting social and economic benefits.
Thank You!
Your support has given the gift of mobility and independence to so many. Together, we’ve turned small contributions into big changes, and we couldn’t have done it without you!
