On March 23, 2020, Nature Conservation Agency,North Sumatra (BKSDA) received a report of residents keep a slow loris as a pet in Medan Sunggal ,then team moved quickly to confirm the slow loris information and coming to the location.
After getting socialization and awareness from the local Wildlife authorithy (BKSDA), the residents finally handedover the slow loris and then BKSDA sent it to the ISCP Slow Loris rehabilitation center.
Furthermore, the ISCP Team examination arrival the slow loris in good condition with male sex, weight 625 grams, complete teeth and still have wild behaviour.
Wait for coordination with BKSDA, the new slow loris with four individual slow lorises who are currently at the ISCP center will be ready to be released in an indefinite period of time waiting for a conducive covid 19 situation.
