Together with Natural Conservation Agency of North Sumatra (BBKSDA_SU),ISCP released 3 individual Sumatran slow lorises, 3 binturongs, 2 black eagles and 1 Crested serpent eagle in the TWA Dolok Tinggi Raja forest area in North Sumatra Simalungun Regency !!

3 binturong (Arctictis binturong) individuals who were previously secured by BKSDA and North Sumatra Police in Medan in August 2019 and also Crested serpent eagle (Spilornis cheela) and the black eagle (Ictinaetus malaiensis) as a result of the handovered of the residents and the confiscation of the BKSDA in November 2019 and likewise the Sumatran Slow Loris (Nycticebus coucang) which was handed over by residents to BKSDA in October and last November where 2 of the individual Slow Loris were sent to the ISCP slow loris rehabilitation center and the rest were at the Wildlife Conservation Center BKSDA TWA SIbolangit.
After several months of confiscated animals from Illegalwildlife and community handovered to the Nature Conservation Agency of North Sumatra(BKSDA) were rehabilitated both at Sibolangit TWA and ISCP Sumatran Loris Rehabilitation Center in coordination with BKSDA veterinarians and all wildlife eligible to be released back to nature, then on 15 December 2019 all the wildlife released into the wild at the TWA forest area Dolok Tinggi Raja, Simalungun Regency.
Release is going smoothly and hopefully all released wildlife can enjoy their freedom in nature again.
