As Humans in the Loop celebrates 8 years of impact, the challenge ahead is still immense. Over 90 million people are displaced by conflict and 1.8 billion live in fragile regions. Most are eager to work but excluded from the digital economy due to limited English, digital skills, and no prior experience. Without opportunities, they remain trapped in poverty, dependent on aid, and unable to rebuild their lives with dignity.
For 8 years, Humans in the Loop has bridged the gap between talent and opportunity. Our nonprofit equips refugees and conflict-affected people with English, IT, programming, and design skills. Then, through our social enterprise, we connect graduates to their first remote jobs. This proven model empowers learners with income, confidence, and real-world experience, helping them break cycles of exclusion and rebuild their futures.
