By Richard Kelman | Project Leader - 4SROGBOE
It is with a heavy heart that we announce that we are suspending our operations with 4SROGOE in Ghana, effective immediately.
Sometimes we find that no matter how hard we try, we can no longer make something work..no matter how good our intentions, how pure our hearts, how strong and supportive our Members.
Is it a clash of cultures, a misunderstanding of ways in which different groups operate? Or a victim of ever-more difficult ecomomic conditions which, in fact should spur us to all to work better together, but instead seems to create more pressures amd more stresses.
We have much to look back on with pride and hope for the future from our work in Srogboe and surrounding communities, but sadly, work like ours, is never finished and ending it, is very sad and our hearts and our prayers go out to all in the communities that we were helping and we ask their forgiveness.
They will always be in our hearts and in our prayers.
And to our Members and those whom we have met through GlobalGiving, we say thank you, thank you for all your wonderful support and encouragement. You have helped more than you know to make a difference in people's lives.
Sincerely
Richard Kelman
