Hello fundraisers, donors, and supporters!
Into the final quarter of the year and the Siyakhula Educare family are working hard as always, however we have some exciting news of an event outside the day-to-day standard curriculum...
On the 21st of November our oldest age group of children will be graduating from Siyakhula Educare! The Siyakhula and Action Change teams have been busy organising everything from party bags to timings and ceremony routines, whilst the children have been practicing a song which they also dance to - that will make lots of parents proud for sure.
It's safe to say everyone is excited but the real stars of the show are UniFabs and Horne & Phillips. UniFabs have generously offered to donate ZAR15,000 to help the graduation go ahead, an incredible gift that will go so far and provide the children and their families with a moment to remember for the rest of their lives. Furthermore, Horne & Phillips are kindly providing all the catering for the event; this will take the strain off of our budget and make sure everyone receives amazing food, really the cherry on the cake!
I'm sure Trina and the children will all miss the students who we'll say goodbye to, but it also represents an opportunity to start a whole new class on the journey to primary school with a foundation of amazing pre-school education which will set them up perfectly for their next stage.
I'd like to thank both UniFabs and Horne & Phillips once again for their altruistic donations, the event would not be possible without them.
Thank you to all our amazing donors who enable these children to have such a fantastic start to life.
Will
