Greetings from GlobeMed!
We hope you've had a fantastic kick-off to the summer! Our GROW team left for Uganda last week and are getting settled in at Set Her Free. When they return, we'll have a complete report on their experiences and stories. The GROW internship is a vital part of the GlobeMed's mission and allows our members to work hand-in-hand with Set Her Free. Our mutually beneficial relationship leaves both GlobeMed and Set Her Free with a greater capacity to serve our communities and a generation of young people equipped to transform the world.
Recently, Set Her Free has started a vegetable garden! The girls and the staff maintain the garden, providing both nutritious veggies and valuable skills. Fresh tomatoes and cabbage, grown at Set Her Free's centers, are now on the menu!
As always, thank you for your continued support. With the help of generous donors such as you, Set Her Free continues to expand its impact and make Set Her Free staff’s innovative ideas for change a reality. We're excited to share even more with you when our GROW team gets back.
In service,
The GlobeMed Team
