New Sweater Machines at SHF Tailoring Center and Other Updates!

Hello!

Set Her Free has some exciting updates to share. Set Her Free’s new tailoring center is up and running. They will be purchasing a new sweater machine in two weeks that will help them expand the business to making school uniforms. Previously, they were limited to making accessory items such as bags and laptop cases. With this new machine in this new center, they are hoping to develop exactly what kinds of products they are able to make. The girls that graduate from the vocational training school continue to be employed at the center and are excited about helping newer, younger girls in any way that they can. The sweater machine, while one of the most important items that they need, only constitutes a small part of what they require to fully operate the center. Fabric, chairs, needles, and many more materials are still needed.

In addition, Set Her Free has expanded its “Sponsorship” process. This is the method by which wonderful donors are able to sponsor a girl’s education. Education is really important to Set Her Free as they believe that girls who are able to stay in school longer reduce the risk of continuing the cycle of poverty. The link to sponsor a girl’s education can be found here: http://www.setherfree.org/sponsor-application.html

We continue to thank all of the wonderful donors that help make it possible for Set Her Free to continue their important work!

Thank you!

Sincerely,

Globemed at GW
