Dear GlobalGiving Family,
Happy Spring!
Though the seasons work a little differently in Uganda than they do in the states, planting season is upon us and the Set Her Free team is hard at work training beneficiaries in agriculture skills. Thanks to donors like you who make the whole thing possible! The family of a beneficiary was so thankful for the work SHF counselors did with one of their children, that they donated farming tools (pictured above) to help us cultivate the land and begin planting season.
Here in DC, the GW Globemed is working to prepare our team of Grassroots On-Site Work interns who will be heading over to Kampala this summer to intern with Set Her Free and evaluate our programming. We have a great team put together, cannot wait to see all of the work GW GlobeMed and Set Her Free can achieve together. Our interns are excited to experience grassroots work first-hand and bond with the SHF team.
We extend our deepest thanks to each and every one of our donors. You make the crucial work of Set Her Free possible, and we are so humbled by your contributions.
With gratitude,
The GW GlobeMed Team
