With the ongoing war in Ukraine, as of today, over 5 million internally displaced persons remain officially registered in the country, with women and children comprising the majority. We pay special attention to the needs of children, offering targeted programs that provide educational support, emotional recovery, and safe spaces to facilitate their healthy development and well-being. We has been actively providing this critical support to vulnerable communities since the onset of the crisis.
Due to the ongoing war, millions of Ukrainian women and children have been forcibly displaced, facing severe trauma, loss, and vulnerability. Arriving daily in the Odesa region, these families urgently require safe shelter, psychological support, medical care, and humanitarian assistance. Without targeted help, the crisis threatens their health, safety, and future stability, deepening existing traumas and hardships.
This project supports a crisis center in Odesa, offering displaced Ukrainian women and children immediate safe shelter, psychological counseling, medical care, and humanitarian assistance. Through specialized programs focused on emotional healing, child welfare, and empowerment, families recover stability, health, and hope, enabling them to rebuild their lives and fostering resilience to overcome the trauma of displacement and conflict.
In the long term, this project will empower displaced Ukrainian women and children by fostering resilience, emotional recovery, and stability. By providing sustained psychological, medical, and humanitarian support, the project helps families rebuild their lives, regain independence, and positively integrate into communities. Ultimately, it creates healthier, safer futures, breaking cycles of trauma and vulnerability for generations.
