Missing Date-21. case filed under Section-363/365, IPC (Indian Penal Code)
X leaves home in the name of going to private coaching on 21.02.23 at about 1630hours. X did not return home that day form private like other days. She has not been found anywhere since that day. On 22.03.2023.A local media person informed Jabala about the missing case upon which Jabala immediately contacted victim’s family and informed the Police Station. On that day Jabala came to know through the sources that a boy named Y, of her locality, influenced her to go with him. On 23.02.2021 the victim's father lodged FIR (First Information Report) at Police Station.
Jabala kept regular contacts with the IO (Investigating Officer) of Police Station and requested him for track the Tower Location of her cell phone. On 11.03.2023 r Police finally traced the location and informed Jabala about the whereabouts of the victim's present location in Bangalore)and also requested Jabala to rescue her.
On 12.03.2023 Jabala contacted Police Station, atBangalore to identify the location. Upon receiving the confirmation Jabala contacted CWC (Child Welfare Committee) & DCPU (District Child Protection Unit), Bangalore Urban District and Child Line, Bangalore and requested them to rescue the victim as soon as possible. On the same day Baitali Ganguly, Director of Jabala contacted Bangalore Government Anti Trafficking Unit to rescue the girl. On 14.03.2021 in coordination with all respective departments Sarjapur Police rescued the girl & arrested the accused around 1400hours.
Bangalore Police produced the girl CWC, who ordered to keep the girl at Girls home. On 17.03.2021 Swarupnagar Police team facilitated by Jabala went to Bangalore and brought back the girl on 22.03.2021.
The Girl was kept at Shelter home of Jabala for 30months before handing her back to her family and followed up for next six months
Many such girls are need of Institutional Care abd Support. The Case Mnagement Services of Jabala support many such X to go back to their normal life.
