Living with happy and a dignified way of life .

Greetings from NBJK to all the supporters and well wishers.

NBJK is running Lord Buddha Home for Children at Bodh Gaya .At Present there are 72 children in the center .All are doing well & with getting support and facilitation by NBJK.Apart from routine work other extra co curricular activities were conducted in this quarter for their holistic development. Major activities can be noted as under.

Preparation of Annual school Examination in planned way. -

In the month of March all the schools takes Board examination of the children for promoting higher study and classes. Therefore the children became busy in preparing for the examination. All the children started preparing for the annual exam from the month of February very seriously. They become regular in the tuition classes. They study in their rooms till late night and early morning. So, they can pass to next classes. Children appeared in final examination. Result of the children declared and all children succeeded with good marks and grades.

Board result was 100% this year. All 3 students got succeeded in CBSE with Good Marks.

1. Kundan son of Bharat a student of Manav Bharti National school –Gaya has obtained 7.2 CGPA  . He is so happy, now he wants to do ITI Course.

2. Reena daughter of Mangaldeo    a student of Manav Bharti National School –Gaya has obtained 8.4 CGPA She is so happy. Now she wants to do Beautician course.

3. Shankar Son Of Shiva has also got 7.2. CGPA. He wants to be a painter in future.

Celebration of Holi Festival at LBHC: -

Holi the colorful festival of India celebrated with Mud and colors on dated 13.3.17. Special food like sweets, fruits rice, puri, Dumpling and     vegetable were served and they enjoyed too. We provided mothers Rice, milk and sugar for Khir, Besan and oil for Dumpling.  We Provided the Gulal (Colour) to play Holi. On dated 12.3.17 mothers made Dumpling for the children. Children ate and enjoyed a lot. On 13.3.17 mother of every house prepared Khir, Puri and green vegetable. Children dug mud in the ground and pour water over there and played Holi  in the groups after that they take  bath with fresh water. They wear neat clothes and played Holy with dry colors in the evening  with  special holi songs.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Participation of children in world Women Day: -

World Women Day was organized under AVI/BLF project in the community hall of LBHC on dated 10.3.17. Many local and prominent people including men and women participated in the program from different villages and organizations like Samanvay Ashram from Bodhgaya, Lok Samiti, Viklang Vikash Sangh Bodhgaya and women.  Approx 70 participants participated in this program which was totally managed by Children of LBHC under guidance of center coordinator.

Children’s Aadhar card: -

Now Aadhar card is an important identity proof of an Indian. Therefore it was necessary to make Aadhar card for LBHC children also. Shankar Prasad Mehta contact with Vijay Prakash the authority of Aadhar card office at Bodh Gaya. He called him at LBHC campus and made Aadhar cards for 40 children in the first phase. All 40 have own ADHAR CARD Which can be used in getting govt. facilities as well as a proof of identification..

Yoga Classes for healthy mind and body: -

Within the reporting quarter we initiated YOGA sessions for Physical Mental and spiritual development of   among children.  Counselor is motivating them to participate in the yoga classes. Initially big children have started coming for yoga classes small children are also taking to much interest .YOGA classes are conducted either in morning or evening depends upon the class timing of schools. In summer all the school started from 6:30 AM so the counselor changed the time for yoga. They fixed the time at evening from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Previously it was 5:30 AM to 7:00 AM when the school was day. After that the children goes for tuition from 5 PM. Yoga is being done at daily basis.

Cleaning of LBHC Campus: -

Children of LBHC are also pay attention on regular cleaning of campus in the leadership of Praveen every Sunday. All the children get up early in the morning at 6:00 AM and after completion of daily personal work they gather in the field. Praveen  and Sumant  distribute the area to children as per their choice for cleaning.  This practice for the children makes good habits and attentive towards the importance of cleanliness.      
By getting continuous support all children are happy and personality is developing .Herewith we are describing and sharing the progress and feelings of happiness so that you can realize the same.
