Dear All,
Greetings from NBJK!!
I am hereby presenting the recent progress report from our Lord Buddha Home for Children. All the children have successfully passed their final examination and have been successfully promoted to their respective next grade. Few of the students performed exceptionally well and many have satisfactory results.
One of the students with exceptional performance is Ganesh, who has been promoted to Class VIII with 97.54% in his Class VI final exam. He is good at almost all the subjects and is also inclined towards art and craft. In his school project he prepared the London Bridge with thermocol and was well appreciated by his teachers and friends. He is very good at sports as well and loves cricket like every Indian. He is an opener batsman and desires to excel in sports.
India, being a festive country celebrates lots of festivals and the past three months were awesome. The Republic day celebration was grand and following the culture all the children were provided with jalebi (a typical sweet for the national occasion).
Holi, the festival of colours was celebrated and children loved it. They played with colours during the day-time with their LBHC family and were provided with new clothes for the evening. All the children were exited to receive new clothes.
It gives us immense pleasure to visualise the happiness in the lives of these kids, and their sound development and good academic performance allows us to believe in our dreams that we are leading in the right direction. All of this is possible with the generous support of kind donors like you who believes in our vision to fill the lives the these orphan kids with colour.
Thanking You
With Regards
Shweta Sinha
