Dear Supporters,

Greetings from Lord Buddha Home for Children!!

I am pleased to present the quarterly progress report and am happy to share that the last few months have been really good for the kids. All the kids are sound and healthy and are eagerly waiting for the coming festive season starting from next week in India. Diwali is on 12th of this month and is known as the festival of light. It is widely celebrated in every part of India and also by all the Indians residing abroad.

All the schools will be closed for vacation and children will enjoy the festivals with good food, crackers, light and fire works. Children are excited and are happy to be a part of the home. With your kind support, we were able to submit the tuition fees of 14 kids for the month of October and partial tuition fees for 4 other kids as well. All the kids study in a good CBSE (Central Board of secondary Education) affiliated English medium school and enjoy studying.

Priyanka is of the the beneficiaries supported by your donations. She is a bright student and is currently studying in Kindergarten II in Hansraj Public School. Her favourite subject is English. She actively participates in Cultural programmes in school and loves to dance. She is active in sports as well and plays cricket and kabaddi.

During last few months, there were few occasions celebrated in the home namely Rakshabandhan- a festival celebrating the relationship of a brother and sister. In this festival; sisters tie bands on the wrist of their brothers and the brothers promise to take care and protect their sisters, Independence day and Birthday celebration. Children enjoyed them thoroughly and performed dance, singing and skit programs.

Please keep supporting in future as well to bring colours to their lives. Your smallest contribution brings joy and happiness in the lives of these children.

Thanking You

With Regards
