As we all know that every child needs a home for family care and love not just food or shelter. We are very happy to inform you that LBHC is not an orphanage it’s a home for our loving children who get proper mother care and loving family environment. We also focus on the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of the children and without all your support it is not possible. Your kind donation supporting them for food, education, shelter, and other activities. We together can make their future bright and full of happiness.
Activities of these quarter are as follows:
Celebration of Saraswati Pooja: In the month of February children celebrated Saraswati Pooja festival which is celebrated to get the blessing for Education and music from Goddess Saraswati according to Indian culture. Children gathered for the worship and sweets were distributed among the children.
Campus Cleaning: Every 2-3 days of the month elder children participate in campus cleaning. They have been taught how to clean your surroundings, the difference between biodegradables and non-biodegradables waste so that they could dispose of the garbage into the correct dustbin. Elder children guide younger children about cleaning work. Children enjoy this activity a lot.
Yoga and Meditation:A very good habit which our children follow is The Yoga Practice, which is very essential for good health. Daily early in the morning all the children gather in the hall and do yoga. Time to time different Yoga teachers come and they teach new yoga asanas to the children. On 17th Feb children learnt new thing with Yoga practice which is Meditation. A team of Sahajyog Meditation came to the LBHC campus and train the children for meditation. They taught the skills that how to focus and control the mind with the power of mediation. Now children of LBHC are following this in their daily routine.
Set Up of Solar Water Heater in LBHC: Solar water heater was set up in LBHC for the children so that they could get hot water anytime.
Game Competition: Game competition was organised in LBHC in the month of March. Girls and boys both participated in the cricket, kabaddi and race competition. Winner team got the prize too.
Rubella Vaccination Camp:With the support of government of India Rubella Vaccination camp organised in LBHC campus. 5 to 15 years old children have been immunized with this vaccine for the safety of health.
Apart from this annual exam was very close, so all the children were focusing on their study. Regular subjects’ classes and computer classes were running on time. Healthy food and fruits were given to all the children. Regular follow up of the children who went out of LBHC for higher study and vocational training are also running.
