Ensure a Better Life for the Children of LBHC

Dear Supporters and Well Wishers

Heartiest Greetings from Lord Buddha Home for Children!!

Children of LBHC are doing well. NBJK has consistently been improving their self-esteem, confidence and leadership qualities that will prepare them for future employment. Offering more than just food, shelter and other essentials, we give our children a loving family environment and the tools needed to achieve their goals through education and career development. Most of our kids came to us from tragic, backgrounds, facing an uncertain future with virtually no hope, but with generous support of our donors, we abled to meet their emotional, medical and educational needs and beyond.

On Diwali festival children were very excited. Since the morning they have started to clean and decorate the LBHC. They made colorful Rangoli on the floor and trying to compete each other’s by making best Rangoli. After Diwali pooja they lighted the firecrackers and enjoyed a lot with especial delicious meal.

Children were waiting for New Year desperately because they know they go on the picnic on every 1st of January. They went to Dharmaran in Bodh Gaya. Caregiver mothers took delicious food for them there. Children played singing and dancing game their and enjoyed a lot.

Kagupa International Monlam Trust,Bodh Gaya organized a health camp on 16th January. Children went there and took the benefit of health checkup. Children those who are suffering from cold and cough got medicines from there.

Children also learn computer in LBHC computer lab. Indal, Gudiya, Abhishek and Shanti learnt what is power point presentation and how does it make. Like always children got lots of Gifts from Amazon like Socks, Protinex, Maggi, Pens, Story Books etc. Apart from this, children were practicing for Republic Day Parade.

Time to time counselling has been done of all the children and mothers by management committee so that the small disputes can be solved. Children also share their problem if they have any, with the management.

Other activities like Yoga classes, Cleaning of the campus, Music classes and sports are running on regular basis.
