Greetings from Azad India!
It is my pleasure to share our fifth report via Global Giving on the progress of our project to provide sewing machine to a needy girl for self-reliance in Kishanganj district of Bihar. Your generous gift to provide a needy girl in Kishanganj with a sewing machine has been life-changing. Thank you for your support and for empowering girl to rise out of poverty. The last one-year has been eventful for Hasina. She learnt a skill; received sewing machine, became economically independent and got married.
Azad India Foundation is running sewing center at the village Chattargach where 30 girls are learning basic stitching and tailoring. It is six-month course following which a girl can start earning from her home. As most of the girls belong to marginalized sections of the community they are unable to buy machines. This project helps them to realize their dreams.
Thank you for giving Hasina chance to succeed! Your gift has made a big impact in not only her life but given hope others as well.
