It is my pleasure to share our third report via Global Giving on the progress of our project to provide sewing machine to a needy girl for self-reliance in Kishanganj district of Bihar.
Your generous gift to provide a needy girl in Kishanganj with a sewing machine has been life-changing. Thank you for your support and for an empowering girl to rise out of poverty.
With the skills, Hasina is sewing clothes for the people in her village. She is now earning Rs 100-150 on the daily basis. She is earning an income enough to support her family’s needs and is very grateful for the support of donors like you.
Hasina’s father has been able to find groom and marriage will be arranged in the next few months. Hasina hopes to continue sewing so that she is not dependent on her husband for financial support.
Thank you for giving her a chance to succeed! Your gift has made a big impact in not only her life but given hope others as well.
