It is my pleasure to share our second report via Global Giving on the progress of our project to provide sewing machine to a needy girl for self-reliance in Kishanganj district of Bihar.
Your generous gift to provide a needy girl in Kishanganj with a sewing machine has been life-changing. Thank you for your support and for empowering girl to rise out of poverty.
After graduating from the six-month training program, Hasina received her very own sewing machine. She started tailoring business from home. With the skills she has learned, Hasina is now sewing clothes for the people in her village. She is earning an income enough to support her family’s needs and is very grateful for the support of donors like you.
“I am very happy because now I support myself,” says Hasina who has two sisters and one brother. Her father who work as a farm labour says that with this sewing skill he will be able to find good groom for her”.
Thank you for giving her a chance to succeed! Your gift has made a big impact in not only her life but given hope to others as well.
