Dear Friends,
The new financial quarter saw Setu complete its 10th years of Service to the Under-served. Employees of Setu celebrate the 10th Founders day a milestone in the history of Setu. The celebrations started with the messages of the Trustees to the team, followed by a journey into the past, dance, skit performances, games /activities and a lot of fun and food. The event concluded with the Founder Days Award ceremony were the exceptional and outstanding employees were applauded for their contribution during the year as well over the last 10 years. It was a grand celebration time.
During the last quarter the board results of class 10th were announced with 100% result, Congratulations to all students, teachers and volunteers who helped them reach this milestone.
Empowering thru Education
The President of Fidelity International Brian Conroy and Lorraine Rodrigues, Country General Manager visited Setu. During their visit they interacted with the school children as well as distributed certificates to the Tailoring and Basic IT students at the convocation. The school children also performed for the esteemed guests.
Class 9 and 12 students of Setu School were invited for an orientation visit by Fidelity International. A great learning experience for the students and also the employee - “We enjoyed and our entire staff was very impressed by the aptitude of the children", reported by one of the FI employee.
Earth Day Celebrations - Students of Setu School Nithari celebrated Earth day on 22nd April 2017 by taking a pledge to Save the Earth and presented a skit on the same.
On 27th May 2017 Students from Setu enthralled the audience at NTT Data Dell thru their dance performance and Drawing Activity.
A Special PTM was organized for parents to make them understand new CBSE board marking system and also orient them with new facilities added in the school. Emphasis was given on regularity, cleanliness and punctuality.
The Annual School Summer camp was organized in May 2017 for school students for 21 days. They learnt art and craft, skit, dance, painting according to their skill and interest. The products created during the camp will be taken to corporates for fund raising.
Volunteers at Setu School : Volunteers from Octane conducted quiz activity for the students, volunteers from Cognizant conducted remedial classes and one of them taught dance to students on 22nd April.
