Covid 19 and the subsequent lockdown brought with it Hunger and Migration for the daily wagers. Setu embarked on the Journey to provide rations to the needy and over the last 3 months covered over 12685 people covering 424984 Meals. We are thankful to corporates and individuals who supported Setu in this mission.
This was distributed in different areas namely, Arya Nagar Ghaziabad, Sector 68 Gari Chaukhandi, Sector 62, Sector 8 (near masjid), Sector -65 Bahlolpur, Sector-104 Hazipur, Sector 35 Morna, Vikas enclave Greater Noida, Agahpur sector 41, Atta sector 27, Harijan basti sector 37, and Sector 31 Nithari.
This support helped daily wage workers to sustain themselves in lockdown period and stopped them from migration in this difficult time.

Activities at School
During this lockdown period initially teachers were engaged in creating assignments, test papers and video links for each subject for the whole year. Later on classes were conducted online. Though it was not easy for everyone but school team managed it very well. Senior classes are being conducted on zoom while junior classes on whatsapp.
Environment day celebration: Students were given information on environment day. Students created posters and shared via whatsapp.
Online classes via Zoom: Teachers of senior classes continued their teaching via zoom app. Though it was not easy but still they motivated students to join the class.
Books Distribution – During lockdown parents were called for collecting books and stationery of their wards. All the government norms of social distancing were followed during distribution.
Distribution of Sanitary napkins on World’s Menstruation Day: To make girls feel empowered and safe Setu distributed sanitary napkins.
International yoga day celebrated by School teachers:Our physical educator conducted online yoga classes for school teachers. This activity brought change in their daily routine.
