Success stories at Setu Shiksha Jyoti Kendra

Mansi has been a student of Setu Shiksha Jyoti Kendra since 2016. She took admission in Setu in class 11 after her father's death. Earlier Mansi had been studying in a private school. After her father's death, there was not enough money for Mansi and her siblings to continue her schooling in a private school. Belonging to a large family of 7 members, life was never very easy. Mansi' father was a gas delivery man. Unfortunately he developed cancer and passed away leaving behind 5 children and a spouse who was not educated to look after them.
Mansi saw a lot of struggle after her father's death. She had to give up studies in a private school. In fact continuing studies would have been difficult without support from Setu. Being the eldest sibling, Mansi also has to shoulder a lot of responsibility for her siblings. She feels completely responsible for them.

At this difficult time Setu Foundation came forward to support Mansi. Keeping the difficult situation of the family in view Setu has given admission to all her siblings. Mansi's mother always expresses her gratefulness to Setu.

Mansi worked with immense dedication and hard work. Under the able guidance of her teachers, she scored 86% in the class 12 board exams. Mansi has now undergoing Graduation and taken admission in Rama Devi College in Noida and Setu continues to guide and sponsor her education. She aims to clear bank PO exam.

Mansi was always a very hard working and responsible child. However she had a tendency to get nervous and lose her confidence at the slightest problem. It was due to the constant counselling of her teachers at Setu that Mansi was able to overcome this handicap to a great extent and passed her board exam with flying colours.
Setu is proud of Mansi for scoring 86% in her class 12 board exams, for being such a responsible and hardworking student and for setting a wonderful example for all other students. All the best!!

Neelam took admission in Setu in class 3. She has a family of seven members her father is the only earning member in the family. He does glass work and does not earn much. Her mother is a house wife. The family income is just 15000. The family faces much struggle with such a low income.

Neelam and two of her sisters are getting education with the support of Setu. Neelam was always a sincere, obedient and hardworking child. With continuous encouragement from her teachers and because of the exposure she got at Setu, Neelam's personality blossomed. She grew up to be a confident and dedicated individual scoring 80% in her board exams.

Neelam has now taken admission in Chet Ram College Noida. Setu has helped and guided her in this. She wishes to become a Chartered Accountant and Setu is assisting her both financially and with able guidance in pursuing and achieving her dream.

Neelam has understood this struggle of her family and wants to study hard and go on to add to the family income by achieving her goal of becoming a Chartered Accountant. She helps her siblings in their studies as she feels responsible for them.

Neelam was always a meritorious student but she was shy and hesitant. Her years in Setu truly polished her personality. From a hesitant person she metamorphosed into a confident, self assured individual with a determination to achieve success in fulfilling each one of her dreams. In fact, she lead Setu as the head girl of the school.

Now, Neelam is looking at Scholarship support from Cognizant for pursuing her graduation.
Setu is proud of Neelam for scoring 80% in her class 12 board exams and for her determination and dedication. All the best!!
