This year, several young, passionate individuals participated in the Platform Next Gen Oratory competition. One such participant, Dalton, captivated the audience with his fervent speech on human rights and peacebuilding in Uganda. Recognizing the power of youth voices, Dalton finished as the second runner-up and generously donated a portion of his winnings to support his community.
Recently, Dalton made a significant contribution to Kataka Ministries in Jinja, Eastern Uganda. By donating to this organization, he helped provide essential play and scholastic materials to children in need. This selfless act exemplifies the transformative power of youth philanthropy and inspires us all to give back.
At Uganda Unites, we strive to empower young leaders like Dalton by providing platforms to share their ideas and drive positive change. Through our Reconciliation Center, we aim to equip more young people with the skills and resources needed to bring their visions to life. Together, we can build a brighter future for Uganda.
