We have a great diverse team of 19 high school students. They are working very hard preparing for the trip to Ghana. They are refurbishing 50 laptops donated by the Gates Foundation and 40 other desktop computers. We are also learning how to network the computers so we can install 5 computer labs in villages near Kumasi. These computers are important so the Ghanaian students are prepared to pass exams to enter and continue high school.
We look forward to sharing information and photos with you about how the computer lab installation goes, and what we learn from the Ghanaians on our visit.
We appreciate your generous support of the project which helps us get the computer networking equipment, monitors and scholarships for the high school students. This work would not be possible without the kind support of donors like you.
