Cedar Village resident volunteers continue to make an impact on individuals locally and globally. On the 4th of July, residents made beautiful greeting cards to send to the troops overseas. An outing to the Ronald McDonald House at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital took place recently. Cedar Village residents made lunch to take to the families there and as always enjoyed serving lunch and visiting with children and their parents. At the end of July, they will host an “Un-birthday Party” at the Center for Respite Care, a homeless shelter for men. This will be a repeat visit to this agency. The residents always say that they receive more than they give. Funds raised are used for supplies for all these special projects.
