Gorrette pictured here is 17 years, she benefited from the project activities and services offered. She dropped out of school due to parental neglect and rejection, in due course, she got pregnant and rejected by the culprit; yet she was still interested in schooling. CCAYEF intervened in her situation and through the funds raised in this project; her tuition and scholastic materials for 2015 was paid which enabled her complete S.3. Just like Gorrette, 19 more girls have also benefited from the contributions of individuals towards this project.
“Am now empowered through encouraging words from my fellow students and continuous counseling and guidance education from CCAYEF,” Gorret explains.
“Before, I had no hope of re-joining school since my parents had abandoned me! If it wasn’t people of good heart to donate towards my education and scholastic materials, I would be out of school now. Am so grateful”!
“I will continue with my education and hope to become a teacher or a veterinary doctor in future; for this I hope to live a happy future!”
