Dayana is twelve years old and lives with her father and siblings. The mother left them four years ago because she had problems with alcohol and decided to leave her children. Besides that she was abusing them physically and psychologically.
The father decided to proceed legally to get custody of his three children and protect them from his wife. After that he started to ask for help so Dayana could continue studying since it was difficult for him to support her education, for this reason he knocked on Asociación Nuestros Ahijados doors where after doing the Social Study, he started to help her and her younger brother to have them both studying. They received school supplies and medical, psychological and legal support.
Currently, Dayana is the best student of her class, she has the first place in the Honor Roll and excellent grades. She is a very polite girl and helpful in school. She just graduated from elementary school and will be studying Middle School at our Technical School “The Scheel Center”, and we will be supporting her through college.
Thanks to Asociación Nuestros Ahijados, this girl has the opportunity to continue studying and all the family is being benefitted with all the services provided such as Vegetable Distribution, Medical Clinics and besides having the possibility of attending a safe and worthy place where she can grow and feel safety every day.
