As summer break continues in Ethiopia, we are thrilled to share how your support is paving the way for young women to lead independent and empowered lives.
Our university scholars are taking crucial steps toward independence and career readiness. L, one scholar in our program, recently began a summer internship at Abay Television, one of Ethiopia's major media networks. Facilitated through our volunteer team member, this experience allows L. to build essential broadcasting and media skills ahead of her upcoming graduation next year.
This internship highlights the long-term journey of our scholars as they move from school, to university, to careers. Your partnership ensures that young women in Ethiopia receive the resources and support to develop skills, agency, and independence.
