Dear Friends of Enhance Worldwide,
Just last month, I traveled to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to visit the girls and young women we support. I was greeted with smiles, giggles and hugs- and I left with the knowledge that these girls and young women are healthy, powerful and poised to stand up for their rights.
All the girls and young women are thriving. Beti just graduated from high school and is studying at Hawassa University. Two other graduates are now in college. Our younger girls continue to excel in the classroom and form strong friendships. As we enter our sixth year of programming, the girls who are still in K-12 can now look up to our graduates and see their future selves.
The girls and young women in our program are succeeding because they are set up to succeed. Combining education, protection, and social-emotional learning, we give girls the knowledge, skills and confidence to live empowered lives. But we are only able to do this because of your support. Together, we are transforming the lives and futures of girls and young women in Ethiopia.
