Send a Child to School

Children are the future.  No matter where in the world you are this statement is true.  It is pure fact!  So, how can we make the future better for everyone?  The answer to this question is to educate a child. Only education will make this child a productive member of any given society.  Ony education will develop the leaders, the scientists, the peacemakers and the visionaries of our future world.

Having good schools is the key in this process and having schools everywhere so every child can recieve an education. Very often education is not affordable or it is not available to every child in certain areas of the world.  Here in San Pedro overcrowding, no available space or parents not being able to afford to send their child to a school where space is available is very often the issue many parents and children face.

There are not enough government schools or goverment funded schools to house all the children  on the island of Ambergris Caye.  So, five years ago Ambergris Caye Elementary school, a privately funded non-profit organization was formed to try to fill the gap in our educational system on the island of Ambergris Caye, Belize  Here, we decided to provide a quality education while trying to keep the necessary tuition affordable.  Our dream is that one day we will be able of offer free schooling, however without the help of people like yourself this will never happen. 

To date this project has had only one donor....:(  Maintaining a school and providing quality teaching staff is an expensive proposition.  We need you in order to maintain sustainabilty and to make our dreaams a reality.  What a better time to fund a child's education than through this Holiday Season.
