MEET SARAH - THE WONDER GRADUATE!!! Big Congratulations to Caribbean Education Foundation Scholarship Recipient, Sarah, who graduated from Immaculate Conception High School for Girls in Jamaica in 2015! Sarah graduated as an “Honor Student” with an “A” Grade Point Average! In addition, Sarah graduated First in Human & Social Biology in the entire graduating class of over 200 students! We are so PROUD of Sarah’s tremendous accomplishment!
In addition to her high school achievements, Sarah managed to achieve STELLAR RESULTS on the Caribbean Examinations Counsel (CSEC), which students must master in order to get into Sixth Form (Grades 12 and 13).
Sarah achieved PERFECT SCORES in all 8 Subjects taken!
In 2010, at 12 years old, Sarah was awarded the CEF Paul Bogle Scholarship based on high academics and financial need, to attend public high school, along with 5 other children. She graduated from Duhaney Park Primary School. Each year for the past 5 years, CEF has renewed Sarah’s Scholarship, so she could continue to attend high school. Sarah stands as an impressive young lady at 17 years old!
Despite very challenging circumstances, Sarah has held focus and marvelously excelled! She made Honor Roll each term at Immaculate High. As Sarah continues in her quest to Sixth Form in September and next to journey to University to pursue Law, we wish her all the best! We hope that she keeps focus and becomes a positive force in her community, Jamaica and the world. CEF will continue to renew Sarah’s Scholarship for the next 2 years of Sixth Form, as long as we have funding to do so.
We would like say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone, particularly our hundreds of Global Giving donors, who have generously contributed to the Caribbean Education Foundation (CEF)! A “Special Thank You” to our CEF Education Ambassador, Natasha Davids, who has sponsored Sarah’s CEF Scholarship for the past several years! We truly appreciate your support. Our CEF Scholars such as Sarah graduating from High School is the reward for your kindness, generosity and love.
