It has been a great year at the Caribbean Education Foundation (CEF)! Due to your help, CEF has been able to renew some of our 2010 High School Scholarship Awards for the 2011-2012 School Year. We were also able to add six new children in financial need to receive an education. However, we still have a long way to go to fully fund our project. We believe that with your continued support and assistance in getting others to know about our work and impact, together we will accomplish this goal!
MID-SEMESTER UPDATE:
Thus far, your generous donations has assisted these four children.
Scholarship Recipient Trevisa Bryan is still attending Morant Bay High School and advanced to Grade 8 thanks to you! Trevisa received $900 which paid her school fee, text books, school supplies, transportation and lunch. Trevisa is an excellent student with daily attendance. In fact, she made Honor Roll last year and is on her way to making the Honor Roll again this semester! Trevisa still needs $600 by January to pay her transportation and lunch for next semester.
Scholarship Recipient Ravorn Campbell was able to enter Grade 8 at Calabar High School. Ravorn received $400.00 which paid his school fee and text books. Ravorn still needs $1100.00 to pay for his remaining school needs includng transportation and school lunch.
Scholarship Recipient Sarah Jones entered Grade 8 at Immaculate Conception High School thanks to you! Sarah received $900 which paid her school fee, text books, school supplies, transportation and lunch. Sarah still needs $600 by January to pay her transportation and lunch for next semester.
