Send 5 Youth to College

Naomi had a rough upbringing as she was raised in a dysfunctional household, but with a strong vision in her life, she wanted to be a special needs educator. Her strong will has not changed despite the challenges that she encountered. She was called to one of the universities in Kenya as she qualified to pursue a career of her choice, which was a big move in ensuring that her dream came true. However, lack of finances made her defer her education, and she did not know what would become of her.

Nevertheless, Naomi did not give up and kept knocking at the doors of different organizations to enlist their assistance, yet her case did not see the light of day. One day, by chance, Naomi found our website and contacted us with her story and request for help. We heard her dreams, hardships and were touched by her strength and zeal. We decided to support her education. Through the generous contributions of well-wishers, such as yourself, we were in a position to support Naomi in joining the University where she is currently pursuing a bachelors degree in Special Needs Education.

Naomi is a story of how hope and community support can make a difference. In all the actions she has taken, she has been brought a notch closer to becoming a qualified special needs teacher, who can actually make a difference in the lives of children with disabilities. Her accomplishments thus far can be regarded as not only hers but also as a collective success of all the people who support the idea of empowering young people and transforming their lives.
