Felix Foundation Baltistan plans to send 20 talented but less fortunate girls from the extreme north and remotest area of Hushe Valley, Pakistan to colleges for higher and quality education in colleges by providing them free accommodation, transport, stationery and tuition fees.
There are eight different communities in Hushe Valley, north of Pakistan with comprising of 13000 of population and have only one high school but not a single college to attend after graduation of the students from this only high school. The challenge is that the graduated girls can't access to college as the society is male dominant. There is also lack of government educational assistance , unaware parents and financially weakest community.
This project will able to send 20 talented but weak financial status girls from Hushe Valley for college education in different cities of Pakistan.
The selected girl leaders to acquire higher level of knowledge from colleges, will back to the community of Hushe Valley. Consequently these emerging girl leaders will be the source of inspiration to the rest of the community. Secondly, these girls will have more opportunities to acquire other professions as well as will improve the development of their community.
