For over 30 years, the war in the DRC has severely impacted the population, particularly children. They bear the brunt of the armed conflict: forced displacement, loss of loved ones, poverty, lack of education, psychological trauma, and violence. In response to this situation, the Seed for Peace program, launched two years ago, aims to help children overcome the trauma of war that is currently destroying their future psychologically, socially, and materially.
For over 30 years, armed conflict in the Democratic Republic of the Congo has severely impacted children, who are victims of violence, poverty, forced displacement, and psychological trauma. The lack of support structures exacerbates their vulnerability and jeopardizes their future. In response to this situation, the **Seeds for Peace** project provides psychosocial, educational, and community support to help children regain hope, stability, and better prospects for the future.
The **Seeds for Peace** project addresses the problem of psychological trauma and lack of support for children affected by armed conflict in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Exposed to violence, forced displacement, poverty, and school dropout, many children live in fear and without adequate support. In response to this situation, the project aims to provide psychosocial, educational, and community-based support to help these children regain hope, confidence, and a more stable future.
In the long term, the project aims to contribute to building more stable and peaceful communities where children can grow up in a safer and more supportive environment. By investing in their psychological well-being, education, and protection, the program helps prepare a generation capable of rebuilding a better future based on peace, hope, and solidarity.
