Growing high-valued seeds
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your continuing support to our project providing much-needed seed supplies to small farming families. Seeds are very important in terms of improving productivity in farming and often times this is overlooked with farmers using low-grade seeds and thereby lowering their production down to unsustainable levels. We try to change this situation by providing farmers with high-valued seeds that they are able to grow and get higher yields compared to when they are using low-class seeds. This reporting period, we procured hard to purchase seeds of high-valued crops such as onions and leeks and grow them in our seed propagation area with the aim of producing the seeds for distribution to farmers. Aside from leeks and onions we are able to also grow ladys fingers, tomato, eggplant, cucumber and bitter gourd.
Hoping for your continuing support to this initiative.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora

Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project providing vegetable seeds and technical assitance to poor farmers in order for them to improve their livelihood. There are so many open spaces around the farm and the spaces can be utilized for gardening. In addition we provided our beneficiaries guidance in using containers for their gardening activity. These containers are usually cluttered in the farm with no clear purpose of what they are for and they can be used in producing food for the family. The containers comprise drums, cans, sacks and plastic bags. This reporting period we trained and provided seeds to 120 backyard growers so they can produce their own food.
Again, thank you very much for your generosity.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora

Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous donation to our project providing vegetable seeds for poor vegetable gardeners here. A small compact garden is easy to make and will provide tremendous benefits to the gardener in terms of food, nutrition, physical exercise. Recycled materials and organic fertilizer from kitchen waste can also be used with not much cost but the dividends is high. This is the reason why we promote gardening as well as the raising of root crops, bananas and legumes. This reporting period we decided to grow our own crops in order to produce our seeds for distribution to farmers and in this way, this project will be sustainable and can last long. Seeds from commercial companies are expensive and they are hybrid and could not be grown a second time or else the production will be low. We are able to produce a total of 12 kilos seeds comprising ladys fingers, eggplant, tomato, radish and cucumber.
Hoping for your continuing support to this project.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora
