Thank you for supporting girls in Kenya!

Hello!

We are excited to share the fantastic progress and achievements of the Seed of Hope Program, thanks to your unwavering support. Throughout the year, from January to November, we've ensured growth and transformation within our program.

In this calendar year, we've had the privilege of empowering a total of 841 young people, over 500 of them girls, with skills through our Seed of Hope training centre - some of which, on short courses, have completed their training and others will complete by December.

Among the highlights, we are especially proud of the vocational training students who completed their 6-month courses in July. Many of them embarked on internships and received valuable resources to guide them towards their next steps in life. Notably, our centre in Kitui has played a pivotal role in providing these opportunities, including the use of the Business Incubation Hub with equipment and continued mentorship from their teachers to make the leap from learning in the classroom into running their own business.

Seed of Hope is committed to not only equipping  students with skills but also enabling them to become self-reliant entrepreneurs beyond their course. A good number of our graduates have successfully established their businesses which also contributes to their community's growth and development.. We firmly believe in empowering our students to set up their businesses or secure formal employment in their respective areas of expertise.

“The sponsorship I received to train at Seed of Hope has not only transformed my life but also enabled me to contribute positively to my field, my family, and my community. I hope my journey and accomplishments will inspire many aspiring students from similar backgrounds” - Sarah (name changed), Entrepreneurship, Finance and Computer course, Seed of Hope Naiorbi, Jan-Mar 2023

One inspiring success story is that of Joyce Mbaka Munyoki, a fashion and design graduate who completed her training last year. Shortly after her graduation in December, she opened her own business in Kamulu, Kitui County. Joyce has built a loyal customer base, and her business is thriving. Her success story is particularly heartwarming, considering she was a young mother when she first enrolled in our program. She plans to expand her business by offering a broader range of clothing items and accessories in the future.

Joyce's journey with Seed of Hope has come full circle, as she is now providing opportunities to others. She has taken on a student from the 2023 Cohort 1, Fashion and Design  as an intern, with plans to continue offering internships as her business grows.

Thank you for our support - these accomplishments would not have been possible without your invaluable support and belief in our mission. Your generosity has changed lives, and we are deeply grateful for your commitment to our cause.

In conclusion, as we look back on this year's achievements, we are inspired and motivated to continue our mission of providing skills and support to those in need. Your support is the cornerstone of our success, and we are immensely grateful for your continued partnership.

Thank you for choosing to support us, supporting girls in Kenya, and being a part of this incredible journey.
