We are very happy to report that we received GlobalGiving money for this project today! We think future money transfers will be more efficient in the future. We’ve had a very long process that began in early March. Now with the funds, we plan to buy 12 sewing machines to give to 9 of our stitching graduates. This will help these women begin their own businesses from their homes. This will be life changing. We want to thank the donor for this project.
From this project, we will also be able to hold our new stitching class. We have trained over 37 women with this skill. Thanks to generous donors from the past and present, we are breaking the chains of extreme poverty.
We plan to give away the machines on Saturday, 5th July. Please return for our next very exciting reports. As with our other projects, none of these project monies are being used for overhead expenses. We are happy to be a conduit to help donors have maximum impact on changing rural Pakistan.
