Our Brick-by-Brick Initiative has a particular goal: to secure a dedicated base from which we can positively impact the lives of over 30,000 young learners in the wider Cape Town areas. This initiative aims to acquire a property that will serve as the central hub for at least 20 low-income schools. The envisioned base will not only provide essential services but also host a community of dedicated practitioners to provide a thriving ecosystem to our learners and schools.
The absence of dedicated property not only impedes our ability to offer comprehensive support to our schools and learners, but also results in higher operational costs associated with renting. Additionally, our current situation hinders the attraction of volunteers, interns and other professionals, limits the feasibility of in-house training and meetings, and prevents the potential for revenue generation through fee-based training sessions held at a dedicated premises.
