In July, ASAP will be commencing work on Phase Two of the girl's dormitory to house the Kupanda Project for Girls, a comprehensive model to provide rural Tanzanian girls with support so they can succeed in secondary school. Phase Two of the dormitory will complete the dormitory complex and provide safe housing for 48 additional girls, bringing the total up to 96 girls who will receive services! Dormitory construction is expected to be complete in October and the Kupanda Project is scheduled to launch in January 2016. We are still needing to raise funds for the programs associated with the Kupanda Project such as the girls leadership curriculum and science and math enhancements.
