Summary

More people than ever are turning to Edmonton's Food Bank for support. In April, we'll be serving 1,137 more households, and we want to ensure each one receives at least a dozen eggs - a simple, nutritious, and versatile food staple. Our goal is to raise $2756 to purchase an additional 1,137 dozen eggs...ensuring that families can make nourishing meals, from breakfast scrambles to homemade baking. Help us crack this goal! Challenge

More people than ever are turning to Edmonton's Food Bank as they struggle with rising costs. We are not government-funded and rely on community generosity to meet the growing need. With food prices soaring and economic challenges impacting more households, demand has never been higher. Every donation helps ensure families have access to essentials like eggs, providing nourishment in difficult times.

Solution

This project will ensure that the 1,137 additional households turning to us in April each receive a dozen eggs. Eggs are a nutritious, versatile staple packed with essential protein. By raising $2,756 (USD), we can purchase 1,137 dozen eggs, ensuring families have access to this vital, protein-dense food.

Long-Term Impact

Access to nutritious food fuels long-term well-being. Eggs provide protein and essential nutrients that help children grow, learn, and play, support parents as they work and care for their families, and give seniors the nourishment they need to stay healthy. By ensuring households have this staple, we help strengthen our community, one meal at a time.
