In 2024, we continued to activate the power of play across different regions of Colombia, reaching 12,065 children and young people.
In our programs,12,065 children and youth participated in recreational activities such as football, athletics, music, basketball, and more. These spaces not only provided moments of enjoyment but also became safe environments where participants could strengthen their psychosocial skills.
This year, at Tiempo de Juego, we set out to move towards high-performance sports, particularly in athletics and football. Through our professional clubs—Cazucá Fútbol Club and Club Athletic TDJ—we supported talented young people from our communities, offering them comprehensive guidance to help develop their athletic careers.
In athletics, 15 athletes trained and competed regularly, building their physical, mental, and emotional skills with the goal of creating a strong life project and achieving their sports aspirations. Some of the year’s most notable accomplishments included top placements in the U-16 and U-18 Departmental Championships, as well as the Interleague and Clubs Championships. Without a doubt, the most remarkable milestone of 2024 was the gold medal in the 800-meter race at the Deaf Athletics World Championship, won by Erika Martínez, our athletics coach and former Tiempo de Juego participant.
Meanwhile, Cazucá Fútbol Club solidified its role as a key platform for high-performance sports, with a focus on the holistic development of its players. In 2024, the club strengthened its participation in four categories: U-15 and U-17 (boys), and Youth and Senior (girls), with a total of 80 participants.

2024 was a year of growth, learning, and challenges for Tiempo de Juego. We closed the year facing significant financial difficulties, which demanded an extraordinary effort from our team and the unwavering commitment of our community to sustain our operations and programs. Even so, thanks to the active participation of our children and youth, and the steadfast support of our allies, we continued to build protective environments, promote meaningful participation, and invest in a future where play remains a powerful driver of social transformation.
We deeply believe that there are no impossible matches when we play as a team.
