Three goals for 2024!

After the amazing year we had in 2023, we aim to build upon it and deliver in a major way for the participants across our sites in Soacha, Santa Marta, and Timbiquí. With these ambitions in mind, here are three of the foundation’s biggest goals for 2024:

1. Expansion of the high performance clubs:

Our high performance soccer team, Cazucá FC, has been a major success since its founding in 2019. With over 100 players across four age groups, including a girls’ team, the foundation hopes to replicate these achievements in Track and Field in 2024. That way, high performance athletes in our programs will not be limited to soccer as they pursue competitive opportunities.

2. Continue to scale our various programs:

As we continue to expand our organization and the amount of children we reach, Tiempo de Juego hopes to expand the options we offer in programming. In 2024, we hope to offer over 100 different activities to over 3,000 students across our Soacha, Magdalena, and Timbiquí sites. 

3. Increasing participation rates from girls:

From 2022 to 2023, we saw an over 2% increase in the amount of girls participating in our programming, up to 42.9% of our total student base. In 2024, we hope to continue this trend, and have at least 45% of our total student base be made up of girls and young women.
