We have completed installation of the Science Lab in a Box ™ at 16 high schools in Uganda. We have also completed a Baseline Measurement Report documenting Start State scoring on nationally-normed (SAT-equivalent) Science exams. These will for the basis for “Before” and “After” comparisons following the 2026 exams in November of this year.
There was a very positive story about the campaign in the quarterly magazine of Rotary International District 9214 which covers all of Uganda. The headline of the story tells it all: “A Laboratory of Hope: How Science Lab in a Box is Transforming Learning in Uganda.”
On the basis of the success of the campaign, we have begun formulating a Junior Science Lab in a Box ™ for use in neighboring Kenya. There, the national Ministry of Education has mandated that all jr. high schools begin teaching Science to all students. But, without the equipment, most schools are hobbled. We expect that J-SLaB will help.
