This project provides 1,000 children with free primary and secondary education in Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Ecuador and Peru. Part of the education is sending the children on informative school trips! We all remember school trips, a great way to get out and about, learn something and have some fun! It is the same for these children as well, there is nothing more inspiring than getting out of your school and seeing something you have never seen before and we encourage it!
Children in Latin America are worth more working in the fields or helping in the home than being educated and so many are missing out on education. Those in education in rural communities find that the education is so poor they never finish even primary school due to falling behind so much from poor teaching methods. We provide the best education, by employing local teachers and staff, for over 1,000 children in Latin America and school trips are part of that education!
The children in the schools are expected to learn all about things across their country yet they may never get to see it, only look at photos in text books in order to understand. We can be as inventive as possible but nothing beats going on a project visit and understanding something by seeing it!
These trips are an added bonus on top of a fantastic education which will allow children to develop and grow out of poverty. Our ultimate goal is to educate and inspire a community to develop itself out of poverty and our school trips are just one vital piece in the jigsaw.
