Project Report | Jun 26, 2025
Project Extended Date

By Nasir Sohail | Project Leader

I hope this message finds you well. We are writing to provide an update regarding the status of this project. We have turned to another source to meet our most urgent need for school supplies for July 2025. We are refocusing this project for 2026.

For July 2025, we had an urgent need for 150 notebooks for our children. We still need this project. This project need of $7,500 will enable us to buy shoes for these children, backpacks, and have an appropriate family gathering to motivate parents to keep their children in school.

Please allow me to explain more. For eight years, my wife and I have worked in this same rural Pakistani village of about 1,000 people. We now have 135 children tutored each week. We pay two women in the village to be our teachers. We have 50 children who have worked with three desktop computers since 2021 We have 50 children who are into their third year of English phonics and spelling, being taught by a retired USA teacher.

In the village where families live in extreme poverty, we are breaking the chains of generational poverty. We now have parents sacrificing to keep their children in school. In November 2024, the first boy in this village graduated from the 10th grade. Parents are choosing to have less family income by keeping their children in school rather than working in the local brick kilns.

We need your help. This is the biggest school supply project we have proposed. We need $7,500 to provide shoes and backpacks. We will also have a family gathering with food, recognition, and motivation for the parents and children to dream of a better future. It is not enough to simply supply notebooks, shoes, and backpacks. The full picture of what we want is an event that keeps our momentum strong for this school year. Join us as we change the future of Pakistan.

We are training the next generation of leaders. Education is an essential part of that. Pakistan has a social class system and poor Christian children are the least important. We are breaking that system by giving special attention to these children and helping them excel in school. Thank you for teaming up with us. Thank you for considering a generous gift. Keep coming back for more updates.
