Dear Friends,
I am thrilled to share that PFK launched and completed a highly successful mission trip!
At the end of April, our USA team, Myanmar Chapter Board, local team of sponsors, donors and friends, all came together to support PFK and 750 children in the Yangon region.
Togerther a group of 26 big-hearted supporters met on a Sunday morning to unwrap, sort, assemble and pack-up 750 backpacks, filled with school supplies and a school uniform/monastic robe...in two hours!
We spent the next 72 hours delivering our gifts to children in monastic nunneries and orphan homes. The children were beyond excited and so very appreciative to receive the tools they need to attend school, learn, and thrive.
It was a week of great joy, many blessings, and heartfelt gratitude for everyone involved.
Our team is already looking towards next year to see how we can fundraise even more, to grow our list of children that we support.
