I am happy to annouce that our School Renovation Project in Jelok Village has started it's construction process on August 2019 and is set to finish on December 2019 in paralel with the construction of PERTIWI TEGALREJO Kindergarten in Tegalrejo Village. As of today, the construction process has reached 40,73%.
The amount of support and investement from our donors as well as the Village and School Community is overwhelming. The Village and Authorities at Jelok Village has given a piece of land for the new school to be built. In early August both the Village Authority as well as ars86care foundation had signed an MoU which both parties agreed on. After the constrution phase has concluded, ars86care foundation will have a Hand Over Ceremony where Village Authority is invited to see the fnished construction and handing the school back for the Village to use.
One of the main concept of this project is to introduce a safe space for children to learn and play, where chidren's basic right to a proper education can be fulfilled. ars86care foundation also gave the school green features which also introduces the functions of vertical garden, herbal corner, water absorption holes, as well as trash management.
These introduction of green living lifestyle will hopefully encourage the village community to take care of the school property with a sense of belonging. This school building will be used for many generations to come, therefore could benefit hunderds and thousands more children.
Thank you for all the donors which have been involve in this project, and ars86care foundation is hopeful that together we can help create a safe space for Indonesian children to learn and play.
During the time we have spent fund raising for this project, we have came accross wonderful Donors which are equally commited and passionate about the project. As of today our efforts still remains to focus on gaining enough funds to support the school. In paralel with crowdfunding we are also putting an effort in meetings with people from different organization and gain their support in our project.
The project itself will benefit children from the school which currently still learns in a condition where poor construction, lighting, and small spaces becomes a daily routine for them. Therefore a chage needed to be done in order to serve these children their right to a child friendly school for them to learn and play.
Thank you for putting a trust in our foundation in helping Indonesian children gained proper access to early childhood education. We will continue our projects and will keep you updated on the result
Pertiwi 1 Jelok Kindergarten is currently resuming it's search for donation which could provide the students with a classroom with proper air flow, natural light, chairs and desks, as well as a terrace. A proper classroom will be able to provide these children a safe space for them to learn and play. A spacious classroom could accomodate the potential this school has of increasing it's number of students.
ars86care Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Jakarta, Indonesia. We have been working closely with providing access to a proper early childhood education in Central Java since 2012. The Space to Build program has allow us to help poorly constructed Kindergarten accross Demak,Grobogan and Gunung Kidul Municipality. In 2018, we have helped build 25 Kindergarten equipped with green features and introducing the school community with a green living lifestyle.
We thank our Donors who have trusted us with their donation to make this project happen. A classroom project goes a long way as it will acoomodate the needs for children to gain access to early childhood education for many generations to come. We ask you to share this campaign with your family and friends to help the future of Indonesian children
