In rural Coyaima, poverty forces children to face malnutrition and school dropout. This project provides 120 vulnerable children with comprehensive nutritional food kits and complete school supplies. With a goal of $7,500, we will address immediate hunger and provide the necessary tools for these children to stay in school, fostering their development and a brighter future for the community.
In the rural communities of Coyaima, Tolima, extreme poverty is a daily reality for hundreds of families. Most survive on less than a minimum wage, making a balanced diet and basic school supplies an unreachable luxury. Currently, 120 children in these remote areas face critical nutritional gaps that hinder their development. Without essential tools, many are forced to drop out, staying trapped in a cycle of poverty. This project will directly benefit these 120 children and their families.
Our foundation addresses this crisis through a dual-impact strategy. First, we deliver "Nutritional Hope Kits" with essential proteins and grains to combat malnutrition directly in the children's homes. Second, we provide "Education Kits" with high-quality backpacks and all necessary supplies to remove financial barriers to schooling. We manage the entire logistics chain, using our local knowledge to reach isolated rural areas where aid seldom arrives, ensuring a child's only job is to learn.
This project is an investment in the future of Coyaima. By providing consistent nutrition and tools, we expect to reduce school absenteeism for 120 children. In the long term, healthy and educated children are more likely to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty, eventually contributing to the social development of their community. Our goal is to empower a new generation of resilient students who are physically strong and academically prepared to pursue higher opportunities.
